What Are Classes?

Classes are a way to create groups of students, most often in the traditional grouping of classrooms (Mr. Smith's Class) or class period (English Lit II).

However, you can use classes for whatever groups you want.

Example A: Mrs. Brown teaches multiple classes for Spanish I and Spanish II. She creates "classes" for each level, but has two periods of Spanish I and three periods of Spanish II.

  • Spanish I
  • Spanish II

Example B: Mr. Jones teaches third grade and has the same students all day. He chooses to create "classes" for different subjects.

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Math
