You can easily invite students to Storyboard That with a sign-up link! Choose this option if you do not use Clever or Google Classroom.

If you use Clever or Google Classroom, you can automatically import your roster into Storyboard That!

To get started, click the blue Set Up Classes and Invite Students button from the teacher dashboard.

  1. Type in the name of a class. Then click Create Class. If you use Google Classroom, you can automatically import your roster!

You can add multiple classes here if you want. Click Okay, Next Step! when you are done adding classes.

  1. Select how student will log in to their Storyboard That accounts

We offer Microsoft and Google Single Sign On options. This allows teachers and students to easily log into Storyboard That with their Google or Microsoft credentials.

Students can also log in with a unique user name and password! Select the appropriate log in option for your students.

  1. Invite Students with a Link

Last step is to share the sign-up link with your students! This is the most popular sign-up option. Simply copy and paste the special sign-up link somewhere students can access.

OR

Click "Other Options" to choose 3 additional sign-up options:

  • Add students manually,
  • Receive a special link via email to send to your students.
  • Have a PDF with printable instructions emailed to you for students to follow
  1. Students click Sign-Up Link

Once students click the sign-up link, they will be brought to the log in page to create their student account (or log in if they already have an account). Students will use the appropriate log in method - username and password, Google SSO, or Microsoft SSO.

Once students sign in to their account, they will be brought to their Student Dashboard where they can see what class(es) they're in and any assignments given to them! Students will be listed in the correct class in your teacher account.
