Embedding Content - YouTube Videos

Embed videos, maps, presentations, and more into your storyboards!

Add dimension and supplemental material to your storyboards by incorporating interactive media! The Storyboard Creator currently supports embedding from YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms. 

Follow these simple steps to embed media from your favorite site in seconds.

YouTube: Embed videos & playlists

  1. Once you’ve created your scene in the Storyboard Creator, click “Upload”
  1. Click “Embed”, and a modal will appear prompting you to paste an embed code snippet. 
  1. Go to the YouTube video or playlist you want to embed.
  2. Click “Share”
  1. From the list of Share options, click “Embed”. 
  1. Select your Embed options preferences to show player controls or enable privacy-enhanced mode.
  1. Once selected, copy the HTML code from the box. 
  1. Go back to the Storyboard Creator, and paste the HTML code into the text box.
  1. Click “Let’s Go!”
  2. Your video or playlist will now be in your uploaded content. Drag and drop your video or playlist into your storyboard. 

  1. Adjust the size and position, and voila! Your video or playlist can now be played directly from your storyboard.
