How Do I Change My User Name?

Learn how to change your username on Storyboard That.

You can change your user name at any time. The process is slightly different, depending on the type of account you have. It's best to update your username before you create any storyboards, as it will change any links you may have shared.

WARNING: Changing your user name will break all existing links to your storyboards since they contain your user name as part of the URL. This means if you have posted the link anywhere, you need to update the new link.

Individual Edition (Free and Paid)

  1. Click Settings, found in the top right corner of your screen.
  1. Click Change User Name.
  2. Enter the new name in the field for "New User Name"
  3. Enter your password for verification.
  4. Click Update User Name.

 

Education Edition

  1. Click Settings
  1. Click Change My Name under My Settings.
  1. Enter the new name in the field for "Change User Name".
  1. Enter your password for verification.
  2. Click Update User Name.

 

Business Edition

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Click Change User Name under Account Settings.
  3. Enter your password for verification.
  4. Click Update User Name.
